2021 - Why I'm Excited

In no particular order

I’m still breathing.

Independent children of 24 and 21, didn’t we do well   …. I love them soooo much, but I really don’t want to live with them.  They are living their best lives, which is the way it should be.

I’ve learned to appreciate the joy I have in my life …  Ebony, even when she stops me typing by laying her head on the keyboard to be stroked.  it’s much slower with one hand!

I’m excited for all my friends who are business owners who have adapted and survived 2020.  I can’t wait to see what they achieve this year.

My new, very scary but exciting business, The Crag, Cornwall. A beautiful old house in North Cornwall, which will be my home but will also welcome guests to stay within it’s stone-built structure, so they can explore the rugged North Cornish coast.  There may even be foodie weekends, wellness weekends, painting and yoga retreats and maybe even small weddings.

I want the house to ring with the sound of laughter and music,  I want it to feel like home from home for people, so they return again and again to its enchanting house and garden to relax and recharge.

An even newer business which is just a kernel of an idea at the moment and will hopefully develop as this year progresses.

Fitness - My next big birthday in 2022 is 60 - how the f**k did I get here?  I’m excited to get fitter and stronger this year.  As we age we need to really concentrate on our own health and wellbeing.  And as I don’t want my kids to inherit for many years, that’s what I intend to do and I have the products to enable me to do this.

I’m excited for my husband who has retired, so he’ll be able to do the things that interest him.

The belief that my health and wellness business with Forever will help so many people this year.  Network Marketing really has come of age.

Nature - I’ve always loved watching the birds in the garden and stopping when on a walk to appreciate the views, however after 2020 I’ve also realised, as we all have what a difference it can make to wellbeing.  Simply getting out with Ebony during the first lockdown was a joy.

The Vaccine - I’m so excited that we have the light at the end of all our tunnels.  Thank you to the NHS, the scientists and all the people involved with getting these vaccines to us all so quickly. Let’s hope that by spring/summer this year we will all be able to hug each other, now that I’m really looking forward to.

Exploring more of Cornwall, I can’t wait to walk with David and Ebony on beaches and cliff tops in the rain, wind and hopefully a bit of sun.
